Why is it important to detail and regularly Valet a Vehicle?
As you drive and commute, your car picks up and collects various pollutants and dirt. This can sometimes be unnoticed and collect in hidden areas, but more frequently will collect on the paintwork of your car in the form of tar, fallout, dirt and scratches.
Nothing is stopping you from either washing the car yourself, as many do or heading to a local car wash. However, neither of these options will remove all contaminants or all dirt and grime and help prevent build-up from happening. We can provide all of this and ensure your car's appearance is kept it's best.

At Phoenix Mobile Valeting we have access to specialist equipment to ensure the job is done efficiently and correctly, at a good price.
Does your car have those unsightly swirls and scratches, caused by every day motoring and washing? Phoenix Mobile Valeting can remove them and bring your vehicle back to a showroom shine.
Our detailing process enhances, corrects and protects paintwork, this involves much more than simply washing your vehicle and applying a wax or sealant. We will safely wash, decontaminate and polish paintwork to remove swirl marks and most light scratches (dependant on depth) before applying a ceramic glass coating. Leaving your vehicle not only looking amazing, but also protected for years to come.
Reasons to Have Your Vehicle Regularly valeted
Regularly having your vehicle valeted and maintaining the cosmetic side of your car does a lot more than you realise. Not only will it improve the driving experience and keep parts from clogging up with grime and prevent the chance of rust or corrosion, but it can keep the value of your car high. It also doesn't matter how far you're travelling, because if your car is being regularly used for any distance, then there will be damage to the paintwork. Even Ultra Violet Rays from the sun will be damaging the exterior without you noticing.
If you regularly seek advice and services from a valet and detailing company, then your car will be a lot stronger against the varying elements. If your car is part of your business or sales and your image is important to you, then seeking out a valet service will be beneficial to you. Clean and well-maintained cars show someone who cares about their image and can translate to good business.
How to detail a Car
The main differences between washing the car yourself and hiring professionals are the tools and products used. Our experience allows us to care for multiple surfaces on the exterior and interior of your vehicle. If you're not using the correct products on your car, and are simply washing off dirt and marks when they appear, then your car won't be properly cared for. This is why a car valet is an option you should heavily consider, as tips and advice can also be offered.
When it comes to valeting the exterior of your car, a simple snow foam pre-wash is where the process begins. Wheels, tyres and arches are then hand cleaned. After this, a cleaning product or applicable shampoo is applied and washed with a soft wash mitt using the 2 bucket method. This is where our expertise comes in because if the wrong product is used, then this can damage the paintwork and strip off wax coatings, which will only make matters more expensive. We'll also clean in harder to reach places such as the door hinges, door sills, boot surrounding and fuel cap, as these are all hotspots for grime.
Once the vehicle has been safe washed, the decontamination process begins. Starting with a high quality adhesive remover tar spots are treated and removed. Paintwork and wheels are then treated with a reactive fallout remover, this dislodges iron particles that are bonded to the vehicle to be removed. The wash process is then repeated to remove any product left behind, and dried with a plush microfiber towel. Clay bar treatment is the final part of the decontamination process. Using a clay bar or mitt on your vehicles paintwork will remove any contaminants that the fallout remover couldn't, leaving a smooth surface ready for polishing.
Depending on the condition of vehicles paintwork and customers preference either a 1 or 2 stage polish is next up. This will remove any blemishes, swirl marks and light scratches from your paintwork leaving a slick high gloss finish.
Finally waxes, paint sealants or ceramic coatings will provide a glossy shine and protection for all exterior surfaces including paintwork, glass, alloys, and metal, protective dressings are also to be applied to tyres, rubber trim and all exterior plastics. These will help prevent dirt and grime build-up in the first place.
Of course, the exterior is only half of the service, and the inside of your car needs just as much care. Once again, don't assume simple cleaning products from under your sink can be used. You need to use specific cleaning products.
Beginning this process with vacuuming your car is going to make a huge difference, and most would be tempted to stop there. However, with a valet service, we will remove dirt and stains that sit deeper in the car, such as in the carpets, headlining and seats. For this, we will use specialist products, steam cleaning and extracting the dirt from deep within your vehicle interior.
Leathers are all to be cleaned and treated with a high quality leather feed and protectant. All interior surfaces, doors, dash, centre console, pedals, cup holders, vents, glove box all deep cleaned with specialist products to leave a clean feeling matte finish. Interior glass is cleaned and polished. An interior fresh spray to all interior fabrics and a hanging air fresher will leave your vehicle interior looking and smelling amazing.
